Katie has been contributing to Liftopia's blog since 2013. Since then, she's covered everything from new breweries in ski towns to how to spot a ski bum. "Explore More," Gore-Tex's online magazine, features stories of adventure and profiles of people who are making a difference in the outdoors world. Katie contributed two stories to Explore More: a story of a memorable hut trip in the mountains near Breckenridge, Colorado and a profile of Outdoor Mindset, a non-profit working to assist people with neurological challenges by getting outdoors.

"Go Everywhere," outdoor clothing company Royal Robbins's blog, shares how-to guides for travel as well as first-person narratives about outdoor destinations and adventures. Katie contributes stories about destinations like Colombia and the Aragon region of Spain, as well as how to car camp like a pro.

Katie started writing for Viator in 2012, covering several tours in Iceland. She moved on to creating posts about a variety of destinations on the Things to Do site including Atlanta, Denver, Key West, Orlando and Nepal. She was responsible for pitching ideas, writing the stories, sourcing photography and uploading the posts with targeted SEO.
